    Mary was born and raised in New Orleans. She moved to Mandeville in 1984 and has been on the Northshore ever since. The owner and publisher of Louisiana’s Health & Fitness Magazine for 18 years, Mary has always been obsessed with health and fitness. After selling the magazine in 2016, she decided to pursue certifications as a Health Coach from Dr. Sears Wellness Institute and Personal Trainer through AFAA, as well as a group and individual certification in TRX. She also has acquired her certification as a Specialist in Senior Fitness through ISSA. Mary loves motivating and educating people on living a healthy lifestyle through eating whole foods and exercising, and offers one-on–one personal training and small group training. She teaches all levels of fitness, from the novice to the experienced. In addition to teaching Circuit, Sculpt, and TRX throughout the week, she is the director of group classes and personal training. She also is the administrator for the Beau Chêne Fitness Facebook group, sharing healthy recipes, tips, challenges, and general health and fitness facts.  If you would like daily health and fitness inspiration, be sure to “like” the Beau Chêne Fitness group on Facebook.

    Tara Condon, Yoga Instructor

    Tara Condon fell in love with yoga in 2013 when she began practicing regularly and experienced the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of the yoga practice.  She completed a 225 hour instructor training in the spring of 2016, becoming a Registered Holy Yoga Instructor.  In July, 2017 Tara completed 300 more hours of training to become Masters Level Holy Yoga Instructor. Tara considers herself a lifelong student of yoga, and is passionate about bringing yoga to people of all ages and levels of physical fitness.

    Tara teaches a Slow Flow Yoga and a Gentle Stretch Yoga throughout the week at Beau Chêne Fitness Center. Reserve online on the BCCC app or call the fitness desk at 985-845-3504.

    Julie Plaisance, Group Fitness Instructor

    Julie Plaisance has been certified in Les Mills programs since 2009, instructing BodyCombat, Cxworx, BodyPump classes in addition to Kettlebell classes. She is also an ISSA certified Personal Trainer. She loves to share her passion of health and fitness with others. Julie teaches Combat, Circuit and a HIIT class throughout the week.

    Katie Lee Hughes, Zumba and Aqua Instructor

    Katie began practicing Yoga at the age of 13 and Zumba at the age of 14. At 17, Katie was licensed to teach Zumba.  Since then she has earned AFFA Certification  (Group Exercise) and USWFA Certification (Water Aerobics). She has also completed AFAA trainings in Yoga and Pilates. She enjoys teaching Zumba Gold, a low impact, dance-style class and Aqua Fitness.

    Students always enjoy great music in Katie’s classes. Katie teaches our Aqua Fit classes in the summer and Yogalites throughout the week. Reserve in the BCCC app or call 985-845-3504.

    Marie Jaz, Yoga Instructor

    Marie has always been into fitness. This married, mother of two, grandmother of 5, was a New Orleans Saints cheerleader after High School. After staying home for 10 years with her children,  Marie taught pre-kindergarten for 20 years. In 2006, Marie began taking Hatha Yoga classes and found her passion in life.  Marie has her 200 hour RYT with Annie Carpenter's SmartFLOW Program, is certified in Group Fitness and Kids Yoga.  When she isn't teaching, she loves to practice Yoga.

    Victoria Richardson,Yoga Instructor

    Victoria has been living in Mandeville for over 25 years. She is a wife and mother triplets and 3 adult stepchildren. She is a graduate of LSU and a licensed Physical Therapist for 29 years. She is also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has been a triathlete for almost 20 years and has completed many marathons, triathlons including a full Ironman.

    Keri Cannizzaro, Certified Barre Instructor

    Keri is a University of Louisiana at Lafayette nursing graduate with a BSN. She has a strong background in competitive gymnastics and cheerleading, as well as collegiate wakeboarding. Keri also has a background in teaching group and individual fitness through CrossFit and has competed in the CrossFit regionals both on a team and as an individual. Having been a student of Barre for about 10 years, she absolutely loves incorporating this style of work-out into her routines. Kerri married her college sweetheart, Louis and has 2 kids and 1 fur baby, Salvatore (6), Olivia (1) and Zeke (10). She loves exercise and how it improves not only your physical wellbeing, but also your mental wellbeing. Keri is excited to share her knowledge and love for Barre in the group fitness setting.

    Amanda  Gallo, Certified Barre Instructor and Group Instructor

    Amanda is Barre Above certified, and quickly moved on to Les Mills being certified in BodyFlow, BodyPump, CORE and her favorite RPM. Amanda started teaching in 2018 and has taught a variety of classes which include Yoga, Cycle, Power Sculpt and Kids Club Health. Amanda will be assisting us with a variety of classes in the near future and will be teaching Barre on some Saturdays. Amanda has been married for 6 years to husband Rich and has 2 children. We are excited to have her join us at the Tennis & Fitness Center.

    Virginia Bollinger, Yoga Instructor

    Virginia Bollinger is a Certified Yoga Instructor and has been living in Mandeville for 27 years. After taking yoga classes for twenty years she developed a passion for the many benefits it provides and decided to obtain her certification to teach. In 2015 Virginia received her 200 hours certifications in both Hatha Yoga and Restorative Yoga and has been loving teaching ever since.
